A School Safety Zone for Wanborough - consultation closed and scheme now going ahead:

Traffic movements at the new junction of SCR (Southern Connector Road) and Wanborough Road explained:

To explain the permitted traffic mopvements on the junction with Wanborough Road. This has been carefully considered to allow existing residents to travel between Wanborough and Covingham as we always have done. It will allow a left turn onto the SCR to provide good access for the new residents living at Redlands Grove and to allow them to return home without driving through the village. It will not allow traffic from Covingham to turn right onto the SCR as this would encourage more traffic along the Wanborough Road and discourage residents from Covingham and Stratton from using the improved White Hart junction and to access the A419 there.
